We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent electrical skills to repair and maintain plant and equipment. The successful applicant will be required to utilise a range of trade skills to provide a customer focused service.
Based in Bethania and reporting to the Service Supervisor, the primary functions of this key position are:
- Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pumps predominately onsite and from time to time in the workshop
- Diagnostic for diesel engines
- Onsite commissioning and installation of diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pumps
- Attend to customer emergencies and breakdown diagnostics
- Fitment of sales equipment accessories
- Provide technical support on all products internally and externally
What you must have
- A recognised and relevant trade certificate
- Technical and industry knowledge
- Experience with diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pump service
- An understanding of workshop manuals
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Experience with Microsoft computer packages
- Holding a current drivers licence
- Holding, or the ability to hold, a forklift licence
- Ability to travel, work overtime and irregular hours
