We are looking for a motivated individual with excellent mechanical skills to repair and maintain plant and equipment. The successful applicant will be required to utilise a range of trade skills to provide a customer focused service. This role is based in Kurri Kurri and will report to the Service Manager.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Repair and maintenance of diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pumps predominately in the workshop
- Fitment of sales equipment accessories
- Commissioning and installation of diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pumps from time to time
- Provide technical support on all products internally and externally
- Ability to process reports and paperwork
- Provide product technical support both internally and externally
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- A recognised and relevant trade certificate
- Technical and industry knowledge
- Experience with diesel engines, electric power generation equipment and pump service
- An understanding of workshop manuals
- Ability to follow written procedures
- Experience with Microsoft computer packages
- Holding a current drivers licence
- Holding, or the ability to hold, a forklift licence
- A willingness to travel and work overtime
