Designed for use in agricultural equipment, the 1106 is reliable, fuel efficient and easy to maintain. A turbocharged aftercooled engine, the 6 cylinder offers the best combination of power delivery and response, and comes with a standard 500 hour service interval and single side service components, for ease of end user servicing.
In addition to showcasing a wide range of genuine Perkins parts, the Allight stand will promote the innovative new Perkins® SmartCap, the world’s first low cost engine level connectivity device and the Perkins® My Engine App.
Designed to replace the oil filler cap, Perkins SmartCap is a low cost connectivity solution that can be used on new and existing Perkins mechanical and electronic engines. The cap allows end users to connect their mobile device to their engine via the free Perkins My Engine App on their smartphone.
The cap monitors the Perkins engine and sends data direct to the free app which can be downloaded from the Apple App Store and Google Play.
The cap can be fitted to any Perkins mechanical or electronic engine in a matter of minutes and when combined with the Perkins My Engine App will give Perkins customers truly useful engine information including:
- Engine running hours
- Engine location
- Service reminders and service log
- Start / stop data
- Parts book and consumables information
With no subscription fee, the Perkins SmartCap is available from Allight. Production release is September 2017.
