Allight is proud to present the new SS24K-12 lighting towers with heavy duty site trailer. The modified units, built by our Dubai team and engineered and designed at our Landsdale-WA manufacturing centre, is the first model with a mobile design to be supplied by our company worldwide.
The towers were purchased by Debswana Mining Botswana and supplied through Barloworld to light up one of the largest Diamond Mining Operations globally. Debswana`s flagship, which is appropriately named the Prince of Mines, is the richest diamond mine in the world by value.
Allight have provided to date, ten of the SS24K-12 skid base units across their four open cut diamond mines, which makes the super skids a site standard product to this large mining group.
This light solution is a perfect fit for these deep mines, working from elevation of 200 to 300 meters above the work platform. The 11 to 12 meters horizontal scope extension delivers 100% of high optimum light to where its need. The 8 ton mobile tower is less prone to vibration and subsequent damage and the ease of movement across the mine landscape is also a value add.
