Today, we are proud to announce that we have completed our 13,000th light tower unit for our Landsdale production facility. The unit was delivered to Coates Hire as part of their order of 95 lighting towers.
This particular model of Allight light towers has been going strong for over 25 years now and, although it still holds some resemblance to its predecessors, it is far from it.
This generation of MineSpec towers rolling off the line today has a 300L tank as its standard that offers up to 375 hours of run time – far in excess of the 60 hours back at the first generation. We have expanded our LED offering to stay ahead of the curve with the new ALLUME 450W LED floodlight producing 60,000 effective lumens each. This has of course been independently tested by a NATA accredited lab to LM79-80. The chassis has been refined to reduce weight and ensure all configurations remain under 2,000kg for ADR compliance. In addition, we have introduced a new control system that can be integrated with any telemetry solution our customer stipulates, which brings full remote operation to the customer’s fingertips.
Our General Manager of Technical Services, Latif Ahmad, comments;
“With the completion of the 13,000 lighting towers out of our Landsdale production facility, we are rolling out not only the most robust lighting towers on the global market but now the most advanced. This is a huge milestone for the business. With these new developments now in full production, we are turning our attention to the next evolution of mobile lighting solutions for global mining and civil works.”
Currently, our production facility has the capacity to deliver up to 110 light tower units per month. At this pace, 14,000 light towers will roll around in no time!
