Product Safety and Compliance Notice – Generators

In its commitment to safety, from time to time, Allight conducts internal desktop audits of products sold. This has recently included an audit of all generators sold in the past 10 years, identifying some generators that may have had local upfits in Australia, resulting in the OEM dry weight marking on affected generator nameplates potentially being lower than the actual dry weight.

The generator serial numbers listed in this link below have been identified as the affected units supplied between 2010 and 2018. All original customers for these generators will be contacted via email and letter by the 23 April 2021.

Owners for these serial numbers listed should contact the Allight warranty department at warranty@allight.com to discuss the current status of each affected generator and any next steps to be taken. This should take place before any further physical movements of the listed generator is made.

Generators sold today meet all applicable safety laws and are individually weighed and marked prior to dispatch to customers.
